We are a knot of old friends who got bored sitting around, drinking beer, and lying to each other. So we set up shop and started doing what we have always liked doing: building things. Among us are shipwrights, chefs, artists, boat designers, musicians, and fine furniture makers. Each one of us has spent a life playing and working on the water.
Why Etsy
In a word Trust. Etsy has a reputation for being above board. Their pay service and warranties are recognized worldwide. No one is comfortable buying from or giving up personal financial information to an unknown source. Having our transitions go through Etsy should give us confidence all is well and good.
A Word on Pricing
This can be tricky. Material and shipping are the better part of pricing, but labor can't be ignored. We're not here to get rich, but we do consider our time. Some builds are labor intensive, others not so much. As retirees, our profits can be modest. Prices reflect this.
We have conceived, designed, copied, or appropriated an array of products. Credit for design is acknowledged when due. Each is built by one or more of us in our humble attempt at beauty, utility, and good workmanship.
